Scope of application
The product is a high quality, decorative coating for exterior mineral surfaces and decorative plasters. It forms an elastic solid surface with a high tolerance to mechanical stress and to aggressive environmental factors influence, such as UV radiation, abrasion, temperature extremes, sea and air pollution. The paint can be used for indoor premises experiencing increased operational load (abrasion, humidity). For outdoor applications it is used for all types of mineral surfaces, acrylic and silicone plasters, and formerly painted surfaces. Speaking of internal work, it can be used for organic bases as well, such as drywall, wallpaper and wood chipboards. It is used both as a coating for new and repair of old coverings. EKOFLEKS AL35 is a water-borne, with good covering power, thixotropic paint. It is easy to use. It is resistant to alkali. Paint EKOFLEKS AL35 can be tinted in 180 colours. This paint is not meant for painting wood and metal bases. It is not suitable for horizontal surfaces with mechanical load and water load.
Instructions for use
The surface must be clean and dry, without grease, oils, waxes and other reducing adhesion of materials, as well as, with no visible damage. Surface vegetation or micro-organisms formation must be removed with a wire brush or treated with antibacterial agent, according to the instructions. Prepare the surface for painting, covering it with universal primer EKOFLEKS GL25 or EKOFLEKS GL27. Before use, product EKOFLEKS AL35 has to be mixed thoroughly. Apply paint EKOFLEKS AL35, diluting with water if necessary (no more than 5%). Apply with a brush, a roller or a spray gun. In order to avoid visible joints of individual sections of the treated surface, the material should be applied in one operation using “fresh over fresh” method. Do not apply at temperatures below +50С and above +350С, with strong winds and high humidity. At +20°C and relative humidity of 65%, the coating will be dry on the surface in 3-4 hours and will be ready for overcoating. The coating will be completely dry and able to hold loading in approximately 72 hours. These terms are increasing at a lower temperature and higher humidity. Finishing work, the tools have to be washed immediately with plenty of water. If the paint dries out, it should be washed with organic solvents.
Terms of application and storage
Work should be carried out at substrate temperatures from +50C to +350C. It should be stored in an original container, in areas with a constant temperature of +50C to +300C. During transportation it has to be protected from freezing. Storage period is 12 months from the manufacture date indicated on the package.
Instructions for disposal
The material cannot be sewered into drains and discharged into wastewater. Plastic packaging is recommended to recycle in special containers for plastic. Material residues after drying can be disposed as construction waste or household garbage.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor for medical advice.
